The Kelley Family

 Michael is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. The Kelley family has a been a staple in the Montgomery business community for decades. Michael’s grandmother, Lula Belle Kelley, co-owner of Kelley’s garage, was widely known in Montgomery as the best mechanic in town. Michael’s father, Mike Sr., starred in football and basketball at Lanier High School before heading to Auburn University to play quarterback in the late 1960s.

Michael graduated from Trinity Presbyterian School and received athletic and academic scholarships to Auburn Montgomery where he was on the baseball team. He spent a year at Auburn Montgomery before transferring to Auburn University, where he graduated with BS in business administration. He went on to get his MBA at Auburn then law school at Faulkner University.

Michael is married to the former Traci Hamby from Boaz, Alabama. Traci, an Auburn graduate, is a pharmaceutical representative in the Montgomery area. Michael and Traci have two sons, Michael III and Luke.

The Kelleys are active members of First Baptist Church Montgomery. Michael serves on the Selection Committee of the Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award, an award given each year to the high school senior who exhibits Christian leadership in athletics. He is also a member of the Montgomery Lions Club.
